Watercolour, Oil, Encaustic
Private Lessons: Acylic, Drawing, Encaustic
Learn how to use your watercolour medium in a controlled manner. Watercolour is often a very fluid medium used with a lucid technique and therefore often hard to get it to do what you want.
This course will not be what you expect and will teach you a systematic and controlled approach that will give you the confidence you need to find your unique and intuitive painting style.

Learn how to paint in water based oil paints under local artist Ron Wilkie.
This class runs for 8 weeks where you will learned a structured and processed approach to oil painting. Dig Up a favourite landscape photo to work on during this course and enjoy.

The encaustic painting process uses a heated wax medium instead of paint. Pieces are created on a wood panel board. The process is immediate which results in an exciting textured work of art with dominant tactility features. The process is however rather crude compared to traditional painting.
The Encuastic Workshops run 1 – 3:30 p.m. on Saturday afternoons. Materials included.
Participants will create 2 encaustic paintings

In this course you will learn an “easy sewing” pattern.
Purchase your own fabric and pattern of your choice at fabric- land and Domenica will guide you through the steps to complete your pattern and also be able to provide each student with one-to-one assistance so that you can achieve and see the results you want to.
Please bring your own sewing machine, pattern, fabric and thread. We have 3 extra sewing machines available upon reservation.
Course is limited to 8 students
Fee $160 / 8 classes

In this course, we will notch it up another level for you. You will be given a special project where you will create a garment of your choice from a rich hand painted silk fabric.
Students will be expected to create a piece of their choice with ono-to-one guidance on how to achieve your end goal. Domenica will personally guide you through the necessary steps to completing a unique and artistic garment, not only with craftsmanship, but with also a fine attention to quality detail.
Please bring your own sewing machine, pattern, fabric and thread. We have 3 extra sewing machines available upon reservation.

In this course, students will be introduced to hand sewing and learn how to use a sewing machine. Students will learn how to create an easy pattern in the choice of a top or bottoms.
